Founders of Globix – International Entrepreneurs with a Local Heart
At the heart of Globix is a group united by ambition, identity, and purposeful entrepreneurship.
As co-founders, we complement each other in our leadership roles. One of us brings operational strength and a sharp business mindset, managing logistics, supplier negotiations, and growth strategy. Another brings creative energy, customer focus, and a deep passion for brand-building, marketing, and community engagement. We work side-by-side — not in offices with closed doors, but on the ground, in the market, with the people we serve. We believe leadership is about listening, learning, and setting the tone through action, not titles.
Our academic background in International Business gave us the global perspective and technical knowledge to understand markets, supply chains, and consumer behavior. But more importantly, our upbringing gave us something no textbook could teach: cultural duality. As Dutch-Moroccan entrepreneurs, we live at the intersection of two worlds — one defined by innovation, efficiency, and global structure; the other by tradition, community, and local resilience. This dual perspective is the foundation of how we operate Globix.
10+ Years of Global Trade Experience
Before launching Globix, we spent over a decade building our expertise in international commerce. We led and managed trade operations involving a wide variety of consumer goods — from electronics to home appliances, from B2B bulk shipping to B2C retail channels.
During these years, we:
- Built long-term partnerships with manufacturers and suppliers in Europe, China, and the Middle East
- Developed and optimized logistics and import/export strategies
- Gained deep insights into market trends, customer expectations, and regional differences
- Learned to navigate challenges such as currency fluctuations, customs regulations, and supply chain disruptions
But the most important thing we learned? People matter more than products. Building a brand is not just about offering the best item — it’s about offering the best experience.
Why We Returned to Our Roots
Despite our success in Europe, we felt a growing desire to contribute more directly to the region we came from — to bring everything we had learned back home. Not as outsiders, but as people with a genuine connection to the culture, language, and needs of the Moroccan people.
That desire gave birth to Globix — a company that is rooted in Morocco, but powered by global expertise.
We don’t see Morocco as a market that is behind. We see it as a market that is on the rise — full of potential, creativity, and demand for modern solutions. We believe Moroccan consumers deserve access to the same innovation, design, and reliability that customers in Europe or Asia enjoy. That’s what Globix is here to deliver.
